Do you guys get the anxious feeling while waiting for the mailman to deliver your package filled with your long awaited cosmetics? ...because that's literally how I feel all the time. But FINALLY! my little haul of cushions and whitening cream came!
Recently in Korea, the latest craze and hype is all about April Skin Magic Snow and W. Lab White Holic Quick Whitening Cream. If you want the perfect light-toned, pale skin color, these are pretty much the products that'll help you achieve that.
This review does include one more overlooked product- A'PIEU Air Fit Cushion which isn't as popular, but is a really good whitening cushion in my opinion. So with that all said...let's get started!

Look at how cute the product is! Not extremely large or small, but just the right size that fits in my petite bags.
Clean, convenient packaging.

So you can tell these Korean cosmetic companies are very precise with their packaging and how sanitary they are. All the cushions have a film layer protecting the mirror and a sticker to product the actual foundation.
APRIL SKIN: NO. 21
April Skin's magic cushion was designed to be both hydrating and whitening. (They've now launched a new white magic cushion that's designed to be 2x as moisturizing).
Texture: A little creamy/sticky but it's really easy to pat into the skin.
SPF: SPF 50+ / PA+++ This is very good. It's pretty high UVA + UVB defense which will really protect your face against the sun. No need to wear another layer of sunscreen.
Duration: Lasts the whole day. I would say 6-8 hours is no problem. Not very susceptible to oilness. Even though my T-zone gets super oily, it didn't affect the wear of this.
Smell: There's a fresh, clean smell. I'm not sure whether or not they added fragrance to this product but it's really nice that it has a good smell- otherwise it'd be difficult to wear all day.
Price: Pretty average for a foundation/cushion (most go for like $30+). This product ranges from $20-35 depending on where you purchase it.
Overall: This was the product I was looking forwards to the most and it did not disappoint. I wear a thin layer in the morning and it can easily last me until the night without looking dull or too oily. 1 layer of this already makes my skin color looks lighter so I try not to put on a lot- otherwise it makes my skin look too pale.
W.LAB WHITE HOLIC:
First off- do you see how hydrating/moisturizing this is? Super easy application!
SPF: Since this is only a cream and not meant to be a foundation/BB cream theres no SPF incorporated into it. However, you can wear a powder that contains SPF over it to achieve a "no makeup" natural look without layering on another coverage product. You do not want to look too white and tacky.
Duration: I would say a good 5 hours. I needed to apply powder again in the afternoon. So retouch with a powder.
Smell: Really lovely-sweet smell. I like this smell better than the other two.
Price: Also ranges from $20-30 depending on where you purchase it. I have to admit though, it is pretty pricey.
Overall: This is now my go-to product if my face is too dry but I still want to go out and look pretty (haha)! Or if I want to wear another foundation, I would put this over my neck to achieve a balanced face + neck color. Don't forget about your neck! It's key to looking natural.
A'PIEU Air Fit Cushion: NO. 21

A'PIEU' Air Fit Cushion was made with mineral water instead of regular water to achieve a silky, thin layer on the skin. Although it doesn't push the "whitening effect", I believe it gives off a very natural whitening feel to it.

See how more natural it is compared to the other two? It gives me a lighter skin tone without "overdoing" it.
SPF: SPF 50+/ PA+++. Very good coverage for both UVA + UVB rays.
Duration: I did get a little oily throughout the day, but its pretty good lasting coverage for about 5-6 hours.
Smell: A faint, light scent.
Price: The price ranges from $7-15. It's one of the cheapest Korean brands out there, but its pretty effective considering the price.
Overall: I really like this product if I want to go out with a more natural look while covering my blemishes and balancing out my skin color. It does have a "silky" finish like the description says. So if you're looking for an affordable, effective cushion that offers good coverage and moisture, this is what you're looking for.
Comparing: They're both NO.21 but the color finish is quite different. April Skin definitely gives a lighter color.
